Beginning on February 17th, First Baptist Church will begin a 40 day journey of listening to the Bible together. Many other churches across the United States are taking time in 2010 to make the same commitment. The challenge to all of is this: "You've Got the Time!"

As Baptist Christians, we say that we are a "people of the book." Yet, we often don't put our time where our mouths are. Without time spent in the word, our hearts won't be where we want them to be.

28 minutes a day is all the time required to listen to the entire New Testament in 40 days. We do have the time! Our church, in partnership with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and Faith Comes By Hearing, is providing free audio New Testaments in MP3 format for everyone interested in taking this challenge.
